Welcome back to those who were on break. I have included our schedule below and a few reminders from NCLA about Covid travel rules, turf field rules and a notification that we will have changes throughout the session to the schedule. There is a lot here. One important thing to note is our game schedule for this weekend. Our first game will be Saturday in Randalls Island, New York. Please let Coach Loomis and myself know if your player will not be able to attend. Would be great to know today or tomorrow. Also, will our goalie be able to make this game and the 8B Pride game?

NCLA Covid Guidelines Emailed over the weekend:
A reminder that players and coaches who have travelled over Spring Break are asked to get tested with a viral test (PCR is best) after returning to Connecticut. Negative test results must be provided to your team manager before your child attends any practices and games. If anyone with you on your trip tests positive after returning to Connecticut, you should immediately quarantine. As our season is only 6 weeks long, we appreciate your compliance with these guidelines and hope that it prevents our teams from being exposed to Covid 19 and having to quarantine. As a reminder, NCLA Covid protocols are also on the website.
Turf Field Rules
The town has asked us to help out as a group and ask that all teams (home and away) to follow the turf field rules. These rules are posted at the ENTRY of all turf fields. We want to make sure our fields do not get abused and trash is collected. There have been some issues with families picnicking on the fields. No food is allowed on the fields. Just water bottles for the athletes.
Schedules In Flux- be on the lookout
There have been HS game cancellations (COVID) and there will be more, which means lots of movement for youth lax. Practice times and some game times. These changes to the schedule could be daily. NCLA is hoping not but just wants to give families the heads up. Make sure to monitor league athletics and set up the calendar link to keep your schedule up to date. I will also try to keep you posted as best I can.
Thanks for everyones patience!! Looking forward to a great season and our first weekend of game.
