BOYS HS 9th – 12th Rambox
The NCLA is proud to announce Winter Box Lacrosse Clinics for grades 9th – 12th. This is the 6th year the NCLA will be offering this program – “RamBox”.
Head Coach and Curriculum Director for the Program is Sean Allen. Sean is the General Manager of St. Catherines Jr. Athletics Lacrosse Club in Canada. He has been the St. Catherine's Head Coach since 2002. His teams have won Zone 9 Championships in 2006, 2008, 2011 and were Ontario Provincial Champions in 2006. Sean has also been Assistant Coach for Team Ontario with the team winning the Canadian National Championships in 2009, and 2011. Sean coached Rambox in 2012, 2013, 2014, and 2016. We are happy to get Sean back with the boys in 2017.
Breakdown for Saturdays 2 Hour Sessions
10 minute – Warm-Up / Stretch
20 minute – Wall Ball Routine / Competitions
45 minute – Box Drills
45 minute – Box Game
Breakdown for Sundays 90 Minutes Sessions
10 minute – Warm-up / Stretch
40 minute – Box Drills
40 minute – Box Game
What’s NEW: In addition to the dates/times on the weekends, the Captains parents have reserved additional field time at Chelsea Piers for the boys to work on their field lacrosse skills. These practices will be coached by NCLA Volunteers.
In Total, the program will consist of the following
7 weekends (Saturday/Sunday) of Box Lacrosse in New Canaan High School Main Gym (14 total days)
7 nights at Chelsea Piers in Stamford CT (12 Total Hours)
Two Groups
- Group 1 – Sophomores and Freshmen
- Group 2 – Seniors, Juniors, and returning Varsity Players (Sophomores who were on Varsity last spring. Other players may be added to Group 2 as well)
Cost: $299
Coaches: A variety of guest coaches will be working with Sean Allen.

Rules
All players are required to wear full equipment
No contact (no hitting, slashing, etc).
Sneakers at NCHS, Cleats at Chelsea Piers
Players must all wear a white or gray t-shirt underneath equipment.
Players must all wear BLACK shorts.
A pinnie will be provided to you. You must return this pinnie after the last RamBox session.
Players should arrive 15 early before a session.
After each session, NOTHING should be left in hallways or the gym. Please clean up and don't leave a mess.
All equipment bags should be placed against the walls in the Athletic facility lobby. Please leave pathways for people to walk around the lobby.
