  • 3 team practices during the week and up to 2 travel games per weekend
  • If a player misses the practice immediately preceding a game, they will not start in the game
  • Play to Develop - winning is a high priority, but second to developing good long term skills
  • Play time is based on coach's discretion, informed by ability, attitude, effort, sportsmanship and coachability

**NEW for 2023**

5th - 8th House League program

Boys 5/6 and 7/8 House League will meet 3 times per week, offering a combination of fundamentals, rules, practice and scrimmage. Our mission is to provide players with a program that allows them to learn, grow in all areas of the sport and most importantly have fun in a positive, non-travel environment. The program will offer a variety of skill based games such as speed lacrosse, cross field small sided scrimmages and more, ensuring multiple reps and touches on the ball which is a priority for the development of youth lacrosse players. House League will provide healthy competition with occasional opportunities to play outside of our program.

**If your child tries out for a travel team and is placed in house league, a credit will be issued to you within 2 weeks for the difference in program fees.

**Final uniform orders will be placed on 3/17. Players registering after 3/17 will not be guaranteed their choice of uniform size.**

3rd - 4th grades:

  • Players are grouped according to their enrolled school grade
  • Focus will be on developing and improving stick skills - catching, throwing, scooping, and shooting.  Players will also grasp the concepts of positions and placement on the field.
  • Focus on one-on-one play, dodging, defending and moving the ball in transition.  Small field 7v7 games may evolve.
  • 2 midweek practices and 2 weekend games on Saturday and Sunday.  Players are encouraged to attend both midweek practices but we understand there will be conflicts.
  • Ad hoc, select games vs. other towns - at discretion of the coaches.  All players will be invigted to play in games vs. other towns (there is no formal CONNY league play in this grade)

K - 2nd grades:

  • Players are grouped according to their enrolled school grade
  • Focus will be on developing and improving stick skills - catching, throwing, scooping, and shooting.  Players will also grasp the concepts of positions and placement on the field.
  • In addition, there will be a focus on one-on-one play, dodging, defending and moving the ball in transition
  • Practices on Saturdays and Sundays
