NCLA is a non-profit 501C-3 organization dedicated to providing the youth of New Canaan, Connecticut opportunities to learn and play the sport of lacrosse. We do not want financial capability to prevent a child from being able to participate in our lacrosse programs both during the primary lacrosse season (spring) and our other offerings throughout the year.
We recognize that the combined cost of registration and lacrosse equipment is significant. If these costs are a burden, NCLA is prepared to provide assistance when possible.
Please use the Financial Aid form on the home page or at the following link. It asks for some brief information. Once the request has been submitted, a decision should take about a week or so. Your son or daughter's registration will hold a spot as we review the request. The system will send a waitlist status if after 3 days there has been non-payment. Please disregard that automated email; we are aware that the system sends those out. Should you have additional information or issues to discuss please send a note to the Treasurer, John Walsh at
. Your request will be kept in strict confidence. All requests will quickly be reviewed by the financial aid committee. All requests are considered during the registration period of the respective program in question and a response will be forthcoming as to what NCLA is prepared to do within a few days of the request. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any questions.
